Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located in the VERY POPULAR Bayside marketplace.  We are located on the NORTH END of the marina behind Victoria’s Secret.

Q: Do I need a license to operate a Jet Ski?

A: Anyone born after 01/01/1988 is required to have a NASBLA approved boater safety license in their possession along with a government issued ID.  BUT DON’T WORRY the license is FREE and EASY.  You can go online at http://www.boatus.org/florida/ and do the course for FREE.  Or you can come to the docks 30 minutes early and we can provide you with the course for a $3 fee.

Q: Is there an instructor with us?

A:  YES.  Even on the “ridezone” there will be a safety guide on his own ski out on the water to assist you.

Q: Should I leave my shoes on the dock?

A: Shoes are recommended to be worn until you are about to board the skis.

Q: Where to lock items?

A: We have personal bins for each group.  Your items will be safe and no one will touch them.

Q: Where can I park?

A: There are several spots to park in and around Bayside, However the best and EASIEST parking is the Bayside parking garage on the corner of NE 5 st and Biscayne Blvd.

Q: Can i use my go pro?

A: Cameras may be brought on the trip, however filming is NOT allowed while we are in motion.  You are free to take video and photos at our stops but while we are moving on this high speed adventure filming will NOT be permitted.

Q: Does the guide drive slow?

A: The safety guides try to cater the adventure to the skill levels of the guests on each particular trip.  We are very good at keeping it fun for the speedsters while making sure the more timid in the group feel safe and not rushed.

Q: How many people are allowed on the ski?

A: TWO(2) people max on the ski with a MAX weight of 400 LBS.  (strictly enforced for safety)

Q: Is there a slow zone and if so how long is it?

A: There is a slow zone departing and entering our marina which is approximately 5 min long

Q: Can I ride solo without a guide?

A:  You can ride solo however you will have a safety guide keeping an eye on you at all times in case of emergency.

Q: Is the cost per passenger?

A:  The price is per machine.  Two adults allowed per machine. Max weight per machine is 400 lbs.  A small child can be added in addition to the two adults as long as the total weight is under 400 lbs.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Government issued ID with birth date clearly visible, credit card for guarantee, cash for gratuity, sunscreen, and a big smile to have some fun!!!

Q: What kind of clothing should I wear?

A: While most of the year a bathing suit would be the clothing of choice it is always a good idea to have shorts, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

Q: We are coming down at end of FEB what hours and days are you open?

A: We are open 7 days per week from 9am until 5pm.  However RESERVATIONS are required to be guaranteed a ski.  Keep in mind our trips have limited spots in them and they fill up fast. Also several factors can change our daily trips without notice.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: Yes as long as they are “YOUR” kids.  Parents  bringing their children and the kids friends are not allowed.  We must  have the parents sign release waivers for their kids.

Q: How old do I have to be to drive?

A: Unless the parent is present to sign the required liability waivers you must be 18 years of age.  If the parent is present anyone 16 years of age or older should be fine to drive as long as they have proper government issued ID with birthdate and required NASBLA approved boat certificate (Decision is up to ROM on duty)

Q: What if I have never been on a jet ski before?

A: Prior jet ski use is NOT required.  We have shown many first-timers how to operate the machine and have an AMAZING time.

Q: What if I don’t know how to swim?

A: You are NOT required to know how to swim.  You are provided proper water sports life jackets prior to boarding the skis.

Q: Is there a security deposit?

A: You are responsible for any damages caused to the equipment while you are using it.  However, we DO NOT hold the money from your card.

Q: Are there any other costs?

A:  All fees are included in the booking price.  Gratuity for the safety guide is NOT included.
